Let me tell you…

How relaxing the shore is. I’m sitting here with a cup of coffee, hubby’s laptop, and the new Cosmo that I plan on reading after I post this. Both kidlets are napping, and no one is here but me because Ryan and his parents have a viewing to go to, so they drove home for a few hours this afternoon (we’re only about an hour/hour and 10 minutes from Ocean City, NJ). It’s so quiet and peaceful, and I’m loving it….

It’s been a great time so far. We’ve been to the beach, to the boardwalk and rides, family has been here for the holiday, and Ryan and I even snuck out without the kids for dinner last night. It’s definitely been a much needed getaway. Especially since I haven’t left the house a whole lot since surgery, and I was getting pretty sick of seeing the inside of my house all the time. It’s been a nice change of scenery.

Right now though, as much as I would love to start posting pictures, have got to go lay down. I thought I would be able to finish this and read a little bit, but my eye are too heavy. I didn’t get much sleep last night for some reason, and I need to rest a bit before the kids get up….
